Planned roadworks in West Midlands: weekly summary for Monday 7 to Sunday 13 December 2015

The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 4 December 2015 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

A38 - A5121 Branston junction, West Midlands: Resurfacing works

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 7pm and 7am from 7 December until 13 December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A45 Stivichall junction to Toll Bar End, West Midlands: Carriageway resurfacing and temporary barriers

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 8pm and 6am from 7 December until 13 December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A49 – Between A4113 and B4368, West Midlands: Parapet repairs

The A49 carriageway between A4113 and B4368 will be closed in both directions from 11 December until 13 December. Please note, these are 24 hour full carriageway closure over the weekend. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Churchbridge to Washbrook Lane, West Midlands: Footway widening

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 7 December until 13 December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Mancetter Island, West Midlands: Column installation

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight for one night from 8pm 7 December until 5am the following morning (8 December). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A50 Meir Tunnel, West Midlands: Maintenance works

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight for two nights between 8pm and 5.30am from 9 December until 11 December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A500 / A5006 Campbell Road (over the A500), West Midlands: Bridge inspections

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight for two nights between 10pm and 6am from 7 December until 9 December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 junction 1 entry slip, West Midlands: Routine maintenance

The northbound entry slip will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm 7 December until 5am the following morning (8 December). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The southbound exit slip will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 7 November until 13 December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 Junction 1 entry slips, West Midlands: Barrier repairs

The entry slips will be closed in both directions overnight for one night from 8pm 9 December until 6am the following morning (10 December). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 junction 4 to junction 3, West Midlands: Concrete barrier repairs

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight for two nights between 8pm and 6am from 11 December until 13 December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 9 entry slip/Western Arm South, West Midlands: Re-waterproofing & structural repairs

There will be a full 24hour southbound entry slip closure ongoing until Christmas. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 16 to junction 15, West Midlands: Resurfacing works

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 9.30pm and 6am from 7 December until 11 December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 2 entry slip, West Midlands: Bridge inspection

The southbound entry slip will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm 9 December until 6am the following morning (10 December). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M69 junction 1 to M6 junction 2, West Midlands: Carriageway resurfacing
