Planned roadworks in West Midlands: Weekly summary for Monday 11th – 17th May 2015

The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 1 May 2015 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

A38 Barton-Under-Needwood – Burton upon Trent. Carriageway works

The northbound carriageway will be closed from 11 May to 12 June between 9pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

A46 between Twyford Roundabout and Salford Roundabout. Carriageway works

The carriageway will be closed in both directions from 11 May to 1 July between 9pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

A46 between Binley Woods Roundabout and Tollbar Roundabout. Bridge installation

The southbound carriageway will be closed between 8pm and 6am on 16 and 17 May and an outer lane on the Tollbar Roundabout will also be closed. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

A49 Bromfield Arms (A4113) to Craven Arms (B4368). Carriageway works

The northbound carriageway will be closed between 17 May to 1 June between 8pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

A50 Trentham Lakes Interchange, Stoke on Trent. Carriageway

The eastbound carriageway will be closed on 12 May to 13 May between 10pm and 5am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

M42 from M5 to Junction 2 Oldbury West Midlands. Carriageway works

The northbound carriageway (including slips and link) will be closed on 11 May to 17 May between 10pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

The westbound carriageway will be closed on 10 May to 11 May between 2am and 4am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

M42 junction 5 to 4 (including junction 5 southbound entry slip) West Midlands. Carriageway works

The southbound carriageway (including junction 5 entry slip) will be closed on 11 May to 12 May between 10pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

M50 junction 1 to 2, West Midlands. Carriageway works

There will be a 24 hour carriageway closure in both directions from 15 May to 18 May. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

M54 junction 5 Telford - Junction 3 Albrighton, Telford and Wrekin. Carriageway works

The carriageway will be closed in both directions from 11 May to 13 June between 9pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

M54 junction 2 to 3, West Midlands. Carriageway works

The westbound carriageway will be closed in between on 17 May to 18 May between 9pm and 5am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

M6 junction 6 Gravelly Hill Interchange, West Midlands. Carriageway works

The eastbound link road will remain closed 24 hours a day from 11 May to 26 September. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

M6 junction 9, Wednesbury, West Midlands. Carriageway works

The southbound entry slip will continue to be closed 24 hours a day from 11 May to 30 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

M6 junction 11 Cheslyn Hay, Staffordshire. Carriageway works

The northbound entry slip will be closed from 11 May to 12 May between 10pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

M6 junction 10a to 11a West Midlands

The northbound carriageway will be closed on 11 and 12 May between 10pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

M6 junction 16 to 15 West Midlands. Carriageway works

The southbound carriageway will be closed from 11 May to 14 May between 8.30pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

M6 junction 12 to 10a West Midlands. Carriageway works

The southbound carriageway will be closed on 15 and 16 May between 10pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted
