The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.
Bristol
M32 junction 2 to junction 3: MetroBus scheme (Bristol County Council work)
Narrow lanes with 40mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until April.
M32 junction 3 to junction 2: installation/removal of narrow lanes
Northbound and southbound carriageway will be closed Mondays to Fridays only, 8pm to 6am, until 10 April. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M32 Junction 2: installation/removal of narrow lanes
Northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight from 9pm on 31 March until 6am on 1 April. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M32 junction 1: installation/removal of narrow lanes
Southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight from 9pm on 29 March until 6am on 30 March. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M32 junction 2 Eastville Viaduct: central reservation replacement
Narrow lanes with 40mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound from 30 March until 25 May 2017.
M5 junction 18 to junction 18A: structure inspections
Northbound carriageway between exit slip road and entry slip road will be closed overnight from 9pm on 29 March until 6am on 30 March. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 18/18A (Z Loop): structure inspections
Northbound entry slip road (Z Loop) will be closed from 9pm on 30 March until 6am on 31 March. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 18A to junction 18: structure inspections
Southbound carriageway between exit slip road and entry slip road will be closed overnight from 9pm on 31 March until 6am on 1 April. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
Gloucestershire
M5 junction 10 to junction 11A: structures
Narrow lanes with contraflow and 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until July 2017.
M5 junction 13: structures maintenance
Southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 27 March until 6am on 28 March. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
Northbound exit slip road will be closed nightly, 8pm and 6am, from 28 March until 30 March. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 11A: resurfacing
Northbound entry slip road will be closed from 8pm on 27 March until 6am on 28 March. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
Southbound entry slip road will be closed nightly, from 8pm until 6am, between 28 March and 1 April. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
Northbound carriageway between exit slip road and entry slip road will be closed from 8pm on 30 March until 6am on 31 March. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
Northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 29 March until 6am on 30 March. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
A40 Elmbridge Court roundabout: construction works
Narrow lanes with 40mph speed restrictions will be in place on Elmbridge Court Roundabout until September 2017.
Wiltshire
M4 junction 16: roundabout reconstruction
Narrow lanes with 40mph speed restrictions will be in place on eastbound exit slip road and westbound exit slip road until October 2017.
Devon
M5 junction 29: resurfacing
Southbound entry slip road will be closed nightly, from 8pm until 6am, between 27 March and 30 March. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
Southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 31 March until 6am on 1 April. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
Southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 30 March until 6am on 31 March. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
