Planned roadworks in Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset, BANES, Wiltshire, West Dorset and Devon: Weekly summary for Monday 4 May to Sunday 10 May 2015

The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

Bristol

M5 Junction 17: resurfacing off network

24 hour lane closure at bottom of the slip to assist with off network full closure of dedicated lanes towards A4018 from 8pm Saturday 9 May until 6am Friday 22 May. Diversion will be fully signposted.

M48 Severn Bridge: resurfacing

Full eastbound carriageway closure daily between the exit and entry slips from 930am Wednesday 9 May until 5pm Thursday 7 May. Diversion will be off and back on via the slips.

M48 Severn Bridge: structural maintenance

Full 24/ 7 eastbound closure from 8pm Friday 8 May until 6am Monday 11 May. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

Gloucestershire

A40 Huntley: resurfacing

Convoy working in operation nightly from 8pm Monday 27 April (Weekdays only) until 6am Wednesday 13 May.

M5 Junction 10: bridge repairs

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound carriageway until October 2015.

M5 between junction 14–15: geotechnical works

Narrow lanes will be in operation from 8pm Sunday 19th April until the end of May.

M5 Junction 13: whitlining

Southbound entry slip will be closed between midnight Tuesday 5 May until 2am on Wednesday 6 May. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

BANES

A36 between Claverton and Dundas Aqueduct: barrier and embankment stabilisation

Both northbound and southbound carriageways of the A36 will remain closed until early July 2015. Diversions are clearly signposted.

West Dorset

Devon (M5 only)

M5 Junction 28: improvements scheme

Various closures on the southbound exit slip road until August 2015.

M5 Junction 28: whitlining

Northbound entry slip will be closed between midnight Thursday 7 May until 2am on Friday 8 May. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M5 Junction 27: whitlining

Northbound exit slip will be closed between midnight Friday 8 May until 2am on Saturday 9 May. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
