Planned roadworks in Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset, BANES, Wiltshire, West Dorset and Devon: Weekly summary for Monday 28 September to Sunday 4 October 2015

The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 25 September but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

Bristol

M4 junctions 19 to 20: Bridge repairs

Narrow lanes will be in place eastbound and westbound during the day with single lane running nightly from 9pm on 2 September until the end of October.

M32 junction 2: Inspections

A full southbound exit slip road closure will take place nightly from 8pm on 28 September until 6am on 30 September. Diversions will be clearly signposted.

M48 junction 2: Bridge maintenance

A full eastbound closure between the slip roads will take place from 9.30am on 30 September until 5pm the same day. Diversions will be clearly signposted.

M4 Severn Bridge: Maintenance

A full westbound closure will take place from 8pm on 30 October until the following morning. Diversions will be clearly signposted.

Gloucestershire

M5 junction 10: Bridge repairs

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageway until October 2015.

M5 junction 11A: Communications

A full southbound entry slip road closure will take place from 8pm on 28 September until 6am the following morning. Diversions will be clearly signposted.

A full closure of southbound entry slip road will take place from 8pm on 28 September until 6am the following morning. Diversions will be clearly signposted.

A full closure of southbound exit slip road will take place from 8pm on 29 September until 6am the following morning. Diversions will be clearly signposted.

A full closure of southbound entry slip road will take place from 8pm on 30 September until 6am the following morning. Diversions will be clearly signposted.

A full closure of southbound exit slip road will take place from 8pm on 1 October until 6am the following morning. Diversions will be clearly signposted.

Somerset

M5 between junction 25 and 26: Utility works

A full closure northbound and southbound including the southbound entry slip road at junction 25 and northbound entry slip road at junction 26 will take place from 8pm on 1 October until 6am the following morning. Diversions will be clearly signposted.

Various closures on the southbound slip roads until November 2015.
