The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

M4 junction 20, Bristol: maintenance

There will be a full closure of the M5 southbound link to the M4 eastbound from 8pm on Thursday 30 July until 6am the following morning. Diversions will be signposted.

M48 junction 2, Bristol: maintenance

Full eastbound closure between the entry and exit slip road at junction 2, from 9.30am on Tuesday 28 July until 5pm the same day. A diversion will be in place.

M5 junction 10, Gloucestershire: bridge repairs

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageways until October 2015.

A40 Walham Viaduct, Gloucestershire: structure improvements

Traffic tidal flows will be in operation: with closures for eastbound traffic from midnight to 6am, and closures for westbound traffic from 6am until midnight, until late August.

M5 junction 11a, Gloucestershire: resurfacing

The northbound entry slip road will be closed from 8pm on Tuesday 28 July until 6am the following morning. Diversions will be signposted.

M5 junction 13, Gloucestershire: resurfacing

The southbound entry slip road will be closed nightly from 8pm on Monday 27 July until 6am on Wednesday 29 July. The northbound exit slip road will be closed from 8pm Wednesday 29 July until 6am the following morning and from 10pm on Friday 31 July until 6am the next morning, the northbound entry slip road will be closed.

Diversions will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 22 to 21, north Somerset: utility works

There will be a full northbound and southbound closure overnight, from 8pm on Thursday 30 July until 6am the next morning. Diversions will be signposted.

M5 junction 28, Devon: improvement scheme

There will be various closures on the southbound exit slip road until August 2015.
