The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

Bristol

M32 junction 1 to 2: Metro Bus Scheme (Bristol City Council work)

Narrow lanes will be in place with 50mph speed restrictions in operation northbound and southbound until the end of September 2016.

M48 Severn Bridge: cable work

Westbound lane one will be closed until early September.

Gloucestershire

M5 junction 14 to 12: bridge maintenance

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageway until February 2017.

M5 junction 11: preparation work for bridge maintenance

Southbound carriageway will be closed between the exit and entry slip roads from 8pm on 25 April until 6am on 26 April. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 11a: preparation work for bridge maintenance

Southbound exit slip road and the entry slip road will be closed nightly from 8pm on 28 April until 6am on 30 April. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

Wiltshire

M4 junction 17: surveys

Eastbound exit slip road will be closed from 8pm on 25 April until 6am on 26 April. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M4 junction 17: surveys

Eastbound entry slip road will be closed from 8pm on 25 April until 6am on 26April. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

North Somerset

M5 junction 19: barrier renewals

Narrow lanes will be in operation northbound until early May 2016.

M5 junction 20: surveys

Southbound exit slip road will be closed from 8pm on 27 April until 6am on 28 April. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 20: surveys

Southbound entry slip road will be closed from 8pm on 28 April until 6am on 29 April. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

South Gloucestershire

M4 junction 18: surveys

Westbound entry slip road will be closed from 8pm on 25 April until 6am on 26 April. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 16: resurfacing

Northbound entry slip road will be closed from 9pm on 25 April until 6am on 26 April. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
