Planned roadworks in Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset, BANES, Wiltshire, West Dorset and Devon: Weekly summary for Monday 20 April - Sunday 26 April 2015

The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

Bristol

M32 Junction 2 – 3: Maintenance

Full southbound closure including Junction 2 entry slip will be closed from 9pm Thursday 23 April until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M4 Junction 18: Resurfacing

Full closure of eastbound exit slip nightly from 8pm Monday 20 April until 6am Thursday 23 April. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M4 Junction 18: Resurfacing

Full eastbound closure between the off and on slip from 8pm Friday 24 April until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be via on and off slips

M4 Junction 22: Maintenance

Full eastbound closure between the off and on slip from 10pm Wednesday 22 April until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be via on and off slips

M5 between Junction 17 – 16: Communications

Full northbound carriageway including northbound entry slip at Junction 17 will be closed from 9pm Monday 20 April until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M4 Junction 22: Maintenance

Full westbound closure between the off and on slip from 10pm Wednesday 22 April until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be via on and off slips

M49/M4 Junction 22: Maintenance

Full westbound entry and eastbound exit slip closure from 10pm Thursday 23 April until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M48 Severn Bridge: Maintenance

Full 24/7 eastbound carriageway closure from 9pm Friday 24 April until 6am Monday 27 April. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

Gloucestershire

M5 Junction 10: Bridge repairs

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound carriageway until October 2015.

M5 between Junction 14 – 15: Geotechnical works

Narrow lanes will be in operation from 8pm Sunday 19th April until the end of May.

Wiltshire

North Somerset

M5 Junction 22: Maintenance

Full southbound entry slip and northbound exit slip will be closed nightly from 9pm Monday 20 April until 6am Wednesday 22 April. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

Somerset

M5 Junction 26: Surveys

Full southbound exit slip will be closed from 8pm Wednesday 22 April until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M5 Junction 26: Surveys

Full southbound entry slip will be closed from 8pm Thursday 23 April until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

BANES

A36 between Claverton and Dundas Aqueduct: Barrier and embankment stabilisation

Both northbound and southbound carriageways of the A36 will remain closed until early July 2015. Diversions are clearly signposted.

West Dorset

No planned works.

Devon (M5 only)

M5 Junction 28: Improvements scheme

Various closures on the southbound exit slip road until August 2015.
