Planned road works in West Midlands: weekly summary for Monday 21 December 2015 to 27 December 2015

The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 18 December 2015 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

A49 between A4113 and B4368, West Midlands: parapet repairs

The A49 carriageway between A4113 and B4368 will be closed in both directions from 21 December until 23 December. Please note, these are 24 hour full carriageway closure over the weekend. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Churchbridge to Washbrook Lane, West Midlands: footway widening

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight for two nights between 8pm and 6am from 21 December until 23 December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M50 junction 2 to junction 1, West Midlands: removal of traffic management

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight for two nights between 6pm and 6am from 21 December until 23 December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M50 – M5 junction 8 to M50 junction 2, West Midlands: removal of traffic management

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight for two nights between 6pm and 6am from 21 December until 23 December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 1 to junction 2 including junction 1 entry slip, West Midlands: emergency resurfacing

The northbound carriageway including junction 1 entry slip will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm 21 December until 6am the following morning (22 December). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 2 to junction 3 including junction 2 entry slip & M69 southbound link to M6 northbound link, West Midlands: emergency resurfacing

The northbound carriageway including junction 2 entry slip and M69 link to M6 will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm 22 December until 6am the following morning (23 December). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
