The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 14 August 2015 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

A38 Barton-Under-Needwood – Hillards Cross, Staffordshire: carriageway resurfacing

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 8pm and 6am from 17 August until the 23 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A38 Swinfen to Toyota Island/Swinfen to Weeford, Staffordshire: drainage surveys works

The carriageway and slip will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 17 August until the 23 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A45 Ryton to Tollbar: carriageway resurfacing

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 17 August until the 22 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 TGI Island to Toll Bar Island: improvement scheme

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 17 August until 22 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The slip roads will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 17 August until 23 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Churncote to Woodcote: carriageway resurfacing

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 17 August until 20 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Woodcote to Churncote: carriageway resurfacing

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 17 August until 23 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 – Marlborough Way – Mile Oak: carriageway resurfacing

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight for two nights between 8pm and 6am from 17 August until 19 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Mile Oak and Weeford Island: Carriageway Resurfacing

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 17 August until 23 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A500 Tunstall Street: Lighting Column Repair

The northbound entry and exit slips will be closed for two nights between 9pm and 6am from 17 August until 19 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A500 Talke: Street Lighting Column Repair

The northbound entry and exit slips will be closed for two nights between 8.30pm and 6am from 19 August until 21 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 junction 3a to junction 3 West Midlands: Carriageway Resurfacing

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 17 August to 23 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 junction 6 entry slip, West Midlands: Message Sign Repairs

The northbound entry slip will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm 20 August until 5am the following morning (21 August). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 7, West Midlands: Traffic Signal Installation

The northbound and southbound exit slips will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 17 August to 23 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 5 exit slip, West Midlands: Junction Improvement Works

The southbound exit slip will be closed overnight for two nights between 8pm and 6am from 21 August until 23 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 junction 6 to 7, West Midlands: Carriageway Resurfacing

The westbound carriageway including Junction 6 entry slip will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 17 August to 23 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 junction 7 to junction 6, West Midlands: Carriageway Resurfacing

The eastbound carriageway including the entry slip will be closed overnight for three nights between 8pm and 6am from 17 August to 20 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 6 Gravelly Hill Interchange, West Midlands: Re-waterproofing & Structural Repairs

There will be a full 24-hour eastbound link road closure from 17 August ongoing until 6am 23 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 9 entry slip/Western Arm south, West Midlands: Re-waterproofing & Structural Repairs

There will be a full 24hour southbound entry slip closure from 17 August ongoing until November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 15 exit and entry Slips. West Midlands: Grass Cutting and Vegetation Clearance

The northbound exit and entry slips will be closed overnight between 9pm and 5am from 17 August until 20 August. Please note they will only be closing one slip on any one night. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 11 to junction 12. West Midlands: Carriageway Resurfacing

The northbound carriageway including junction 11 entry slip will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 17 August until 21 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 10 to junction 11, West Midlands: Lighting Improvements

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight for one night from 10pm 18 August until 5am the following morning (19 August). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 13 exit Slip, West Midlands: Removal of Narrow Lanes

The southbound exit slip will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm 19 August until 6am the following morning (20 August). A diversion route will be clearly signposted

M6 junction 15 exit and entry Slip, West Midlands: Vegetation Clearance

The southbound exit and entry slips will be closed overnight between 9pm and 5am from 20 August until 26 August. Please note they will only be closing one slip on any one night. A diversion route will be clearly signposted
