The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 8 April 2016 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

A38 – Weeford Island entry slip road: column installation

The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 8.30pm 12 April until 4am the following morning (13 April). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A49 – Dinmore Hill: Road layout and footpath improvements

The carriageway will be closed in overnight in both directions between 10pm and 7am from 11 April until 15 April. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 – Churchbridge to Washbrook Lane: footway widening

The eastbound and westbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 11 April until 17 April. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A50 – Meir Tunnel to Blyth Bridge: signing and white lining

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 5.30am from 11 April until 15 April. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 – junction 9: vrs scheme

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 11 April until 17 April. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 – junction 9: vrs scheme

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 11th April until 17 April. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 – junction 5 to junction 4: repairs to message signs

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm 12 April until 5am the following morning (13 April). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M50 - junction 3 entry and exit slip roads: litter clearance

The eastbound slip roads will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm 11 April until 5am the following morning (12 April). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 5 northbound exit slip road: all lanes running scheme

The northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on 11 April. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 5 southbound exit slip road: all lanes running scheme

The southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on 12, 14 and 15 April. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 6 southbound exit slip road: all lanes running scheme

The southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on 12 and 13 April. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 – junction 2 to junction 3 including slip roads: filter drain renewals

The carriageway including the entry and exit slip roads will be closed in both directions overnight between 11.30pm and 6am from 11 April until 15 April. Please note the slips will not be closed in both directions at the same time. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 – junction 1 entry slip road: filter drain renewals

The eastbound entry slip road will be overnight between 8pm and 6am from 11 April until 14 April. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 – junction 3 to junction 4: carriageway resurfacing

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm 11 April until 6am the following morning (12 April). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 – junction 4 exit slip road: installation of new electricity supply

The westbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 7pm 13 April until 6am the following morning (14 April). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 - junction 5 entry slip: bridge repairs

There will be a full 24hour southbound entry slip road closure from 18 January ongoing until 6am 30 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 9 exit and entry slip road: carriageway works

The southbound and southbound entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight between 9pm and 5am from 11 April until 15 April. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 13 entry slip road: electrical works

The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm 12 April until 6am the following morning (13 April). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 11 entry slip road: electrical works

The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm 13 April until 6am the following morning (14 April). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 1 to junction 7: resurfacing works

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm 13 April until 6am the following morning (14 April). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 10 to junction 7: resurfacing works

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm 13 April until 6am the following morning (14 April). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 9 entry slip road: resurfacing works

The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm 13 April until 6am the following morning (14 April). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 10 entry slip road: resurfacing works

The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm 13 April until 6am the following morning (14 April). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 12 exit slip road: electrical works

The northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm 14 April until 6am the following morning (15 April). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 7 to junction 8 and associated slip roads: carriageway surveys

The northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 14 April until 17 April. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 11 exit slip road: barrier repairs

The northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 14 April until 16 April. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M69 – junction 1 exit slip road: resurfacing works

The northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 12 April until 17 April. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
