Strike action

The Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS) has called a one-day strike on Wednesday 15 October as part of an ongoing dispute over a range of issues in the public sector including pay, pensions and terms and conditions.

This is part of a week of coordinated industrial action across the public sector involving a number of other trade unions.

A number of DBS staff who are PCS members have decided to take industrial action, however, we remain open for business and continue to focus our efforts on delivering our services.

Our call centre and help desk remain open to deal with customer enquiries, we are continuing to process applications already in the system, consider referrals and make barring decisions.

We will make every effort to reduce the effect of the strike on our services.
