Overnight concrete repairs on M54 near Telford, Shropshire
The Highways Agency is to carry out concrete repairs on the M54 near Telford, Shropshire, from Friday 2 May.
The work will require a full overnight closure of the westbound carriageway between junction 3 and junction 4 for two nights. During the day lane one will be closed to protect road users from open excavations.
Highways Agency project manager Richard Gulliver said:
“As well as repairing a number of areas of the carriageway we will replace markings and studs, leading to an improved road surface.
“To do that safely and efficiently the road will be closed overnight, when traffic is lowest.”
The closures take place from 9pm to 6am each night. Traffic will be diverted from junction 3 to the A41, A5 and A4640 to rejoin the M54 at junction 4.
