Press release

Overnight closures for A45/A46 Tollbar End scheme near Coventry

Road users are advised that there will be overnight closures this week as part of the A45/A46 Tollbar End improvement project near Coventry.

From tonight, Tuesday 13 May, to Saturday, 17 May, a 1.4 mile section of the A45 eastbound between Stivichall Junction and Tollbar End roundabout will be closed each night (including the Saturday evening) from 8pm until 6am the following morning.

The closures are to allow the completion of drainage works associated with the scheme.

Road users are advised to follow the diversion route, and as it may be unfamiliar to them to take extra care and to drive safely.

Eastbound traffic will be diverted at the junction between the A45 and the A444 onto the A444, then onto the A4802. At the junction with the B4110, traffic will be diverted onto the B4110 eastbound. At the mini roundabout, traffic will take the exit for the B4110 and continue until the Tollbar End roundabout where the diversion route ends. The diversion routes will be clearly signed.
