Overnight barrier replacement on M69, Warwickshire

Work to replace the safety barrier on the M69 in Warwickshire is due to start on Monday 10 March.

The week-long scheme will involve full overnight closures of the M69 southbound link road to the M6 northbound and M6 junction 2.

Highways Agency project manager Purnima Kaul said:

This work will improve safety for road users. To carry out this vital work safely and efficiently we need to close the carriageway. We advise road users to allow extra time for their journeys.

Working hours will be 8pm to 6am each night.

Traffic will be diverted from the M69 southbound to the A46 southbound as far as the roundabout with the B4082 where it will do a u-turn and travel north on the A46 then take the slip road for the A46 westbound to M6 junction 2 where the diversion ends.
