Opportunity to Partner with the British Embassy Tokyo
Export to Japan is a new scheme for UK companies looking to export to Japan, launching on 1 June 2013.
The scheme is being developed in partnership with Business Link Japan, one UK airline, the British Chamber of Commerce Japan (tbc) and UK Trade & Investment Japan.
Export to Japan will provide free information, multimedia and other resources for UK companies about the Japanese market. This will include information about opportunities here, previous successes by British companies, advice on how to do business in Japan, with links to recent market news, useful resources and information on key sectors of opportunity (e.g. Life sciences, technology etc). A key part of the scheme will be discounts and offers from Japan-based partners to enable UK companies to access a range of business services.
We are looking for companies who with experience of providing business services to foreign companies in Japan to become BUSINESS OFFER PARTNERS as a part of Export to Japan. We are looking for up to three partners in 24 different business categories which include: hotels, translators, communications, legal and other business service areas. We would like each company to provide a specific discount or offer for which UK member companies can access/download via the site.
This is a unique opportunity for companies to showcase their company and services to all our recent, current and future UK clients looking to do business in Japan. You will also be able to publicly associate yourself with trusted brands for UK companies looking to export to Japan: UK Trade & Investment, the British Embassy Tokyo, the Consulate-General Osaka, a UK airline, the British Chamber of Commerce (tbc) and Business Link Japan.
Export to Japan will be a one-year pilot from 1 June 2013 - we plan to review progress with partners and users in early 2014.
