New developments in the Japanese market for asset management have resulted in a changing landscape and opportunities for UK companies. The changes include:

  • introduction of the Nippon Investment Savings Account (NISA) from January 2014
  • rising discussion on reviewing the asset allocation portfolio of the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF)
