The Oil & Gas Authority launched a new website on 3 October 2016 to reflect its new status as a government company.

The Oil and Gas Authority (OGA) has awarded four contracts with a combined value of more than £6m over three years for surface and subsurface studies to improve understanding and maximise value by integrating exploration, development, production, late-life planning and decommissioning in the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS).
