This data provides information about the number and types of applications that HM Land Registry completed in October 2025.
Please note this data shows what HM Land Registry has been able to process during the time period covered and is not necessarily a reflection of market activity.
In October:
- HM Land Registry completed over 2,089,280 applications to change or query the Land Register
- The South East topped the table of regional applications with 472,423
HM Land Registry completed 2,089,280 applications in October compared with 1,983,030 in September 2025 and 2,140,187 last October 2024, of which:

339,881 were applications for register updates compared with 325,589 in September

1,178,185 were applications for an official copy of a register compared with 1,114,585 in September

228,940 were search and hold queries (official searches) compared with 223,170 in September

90,427 were transactions for value compared with 86,570 in September

18,714 were postal applications from non-account holders compared with 15,389 in September
