Tuition Fees

Asked if the Prime Minister was in the House of Commons at the moment, the Prime Minister’s Spokesman (PMS) told the assembled press that he was.

Asked about the Prime Minister exiting the Chamber, the PMS replied that the Prime Minister was there for the start of the debate and he would be there for the vote.

Asked if the Government was confident of winning the vote, the PMS said that he would not predict the outcome of the vote.

Asked when the vote in the House of Lords would take place, the PMS said he thought it would be on Tuesday.
