New safety improvement scheme planned for the A40 at Huntley
A safety improvement scheme at Huntley on the A40 starts on Monday, 23 November.

The work, at Forest Gate, include replacing and updating traffic signals and upgrading the pedestrian facilities. The work will require temporary traffic signals to be put in place and there will be some lane restrictions but delays are expected to be minimal.
Project sponsor Mike Webster said:
We have done everything we can to minimise disruption while the work is taking place. The work will last approximately 10 weeks but there will only be 4 overnight closures.
All traffic management will be removed over the Christmas period between 22 December and 3 January 2016.
The scheme will improve safety at the junction by making the lights more visible to drivers.
The dates of the night time closures will be published in advance. During these night-time closures, clearly signed diversions will be in place and access will be maintained for emergency services and residents.
