David Broomfield, British Consul to Italy, will formally announce the appointment of Pierfrancesco Valentini di Castromediano as Honorary Consul in Naples. Pierfrancesco will have jurisdiction over the Campania region and the official announcement will be on Tuesday 26 March 2013 at 7 pm.

It will be made at the Royal Yacht Club Canottieri Savoy in Naples, in the presence of the authorities and friends of the British community in Naples and Italy.

The restructuring of British consular services in Campania had already been announced when our Consulate in Naples was closed last summer.

The Honorary Consul in Naples will provide support to the British Embassy in Rome in assisting British nationals in Campania.
