The Queen has been pleased to approve the appointments of:

• Viscount Younger of Leckie as a Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills following the resignation from Government of Lord Marland; and

• Lord Popat of Harrow as a Lord in Waiting (Government Whip).
