Lord Mayor visit to South Korea honoured with Mansion House Scholarship

To celebrate the upcoming visit of the Lord Mayor of the City of London - Alderman the Lord Mountevans - to the Republic of Korea 16-20 July, we are offering a Mansion House Scholarship to a South Korean citizen. The Mansion House Scholarship Scheme is now open for applications. The scheme is aimed at students and young business executives from overseas wanting to travel to the United Kingdom to study or to undertake training or work experience in the Financial Services Sector. The application guide and a form are attached. For more information on The Mansion House Scholarship, visit www.mansionhousescholars.org.uk.

Further Information:

The Mansion House Scholarship Scheme was founded in 1997 by Sir Richard Nichols, then Lord Mayor in the City of London. He was particularly impressed during his overseas visits by the high regard in which the City is held by foreign business communities and by the number of students who wished to study in the UK in schools and colleges through business attachments, executive exchanges, and management training. Scholarships have been made available to overseas students taking Masters level degree courses at British Universities or for training and work experience in the United Kingdom’s financial services industry. The training generally takes place in London, but is flexible depending on requirements.
