International Bar Association: interview with Kenneth Clarke

Ken Clarke laid out his plans for the Prison Service as well as his thoughts on the sentences following this summer's disturbances.

During the 40-minute face-to-face discussion, recorded at the Ministry of Justice’s headquarters in Westminster, the Justice Secretary took the opportunity to explain the Department’s innovative plans to reduce reoffending. He was also quizzed on changes to the legal aid system, as well as his views on the UK’s chairmanship of the Council of Europe.
