Industrial action in Greece

Due to industrial action on 20-24 December public transport in the Athens region will be disrupted.

• 20 December: trolley buses, trams, metro, underground and suburban railway not operating for 24 hours; buses operating 09:00-21:00 only.

  • 21 December: suburban railway not operating for 24 hours; metro, underground and trams not operating 11:00-16:00; buses and trolley buses not operating 12:00-16:00.

  • 22 December: buses, trolley buses, trams, metro, underground and suburban railway not operating for 24 hours; Greek rail not operating 12:00-15:00.
  • 23 December: metro, underground, tram and trolley buses not operating 11:00-16:00; buses operating 09:00-21:00 only.
  • 24 December: buses not operating 12:00-16:00. Air travel and ports are not expected to be affected on these dates.
