Indo-UK Oncology mission

As part of the mission the Indo-British Health Initiative and British Deputy High Commission, Chennai will host the Indo-UK Oncology Summit from 6-7 September 2013.

Oncology Mission

UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) is organising a trade mission to India for UK companies active in Oncology.

This delegation will help you understand and explore the market and identify ways and partners for engaging with India. The mission will visit Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai from 1-7 September 2013. The British Deputy High Commission in Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai will organise programmes which will include seminars, networking receptions, one to one meetings and company visits in all cities and the Indo British Health Initiative (IBHI) in Chennai.

As part of the mission the Indo-British Health Initiative (IBHI) and the British Deputy High Commission, Chennai will host the Indo-UK Oncology Summit from 6-7 September 2013 at Hilton hotel in Chennai. The Summit will attract leading UK and Indian representatives from all the major disciplines of oncology and cancer care. This will include leading NHS centres of excellence, companies, expert officials from the UK Department of Health, NICE, and the Medical Royal Colleges.

The summit will also involve relevant oncologist associations, UK universities with expertise in cancer training, as well as specialist oncology nurse experts, commercial healthcare providers, medical technology firms and biomedical/life sciences players. Some 400 Indian delegates from across India are expected to attend.
