Hugo Swire saddened by Guatemala death toll

FCO Minister for Latin America, Hugo Swire said he is deeply saddened to hear of the loss of life as a result of yesterday's earthquake in Guatemala

Following Guatemalan President Otto Perez Molina’s announcement that at least forty-eight people have been killed in an earthquake, FCO Minister for Latin America, Hugo Swire, said:

“I was deeply saddened to hear of the loss of life as a result of yesterday’s earthquake in Guatemala. Our thoughts at this difficult time are with the friends and families of those affected.”
