Help the Environment Agency reduce flood risk in Nether Heyford

The Environment Agency will be hosting events at Nether Heyford Village Hall on Friday 27 February and Saturday 7 March 2015 to obtain local community information on floods.

Ben Thornely, Partnerships and Strategic Overview Team Leader at the Environment Agency, said:

The events will allow us to hear about residents’ experience and knowledge of flooding – information which will improve our understanding of flood risk in the area and help us plan together ways in which we could work together to reduce flood risk.

The sessions are also an opportunity for residents to find out about our free flood warning service, discover how we manage flooding incidents and ask any questions.

Doors will be open 2.30pm to 8pm on Friday 27 February and 10am to 1pm on Saturday 7 March 2015. Hot and cold drinks will be provided.

There is no need to book but questions can be answered by the Environment Agency’s Partnerships and Strategic Overview Team at Kettering on 01536 385113 or e-mail psown@environment-agency.gov.uk.
