As well as meeting representatives of politics and industry in Bavaria, Minister Lidington took the opportunity to announce a new partner for the GREAT Britain MINI Tour: quintessentially English Tyrrells Crisps. Tyrrells potato crisps are hand cooked on a farm in the heart of England and widely available in Germany. Lidington said:

“Thank you for joining me today on the Stachus to introduce our MINI here in Munich. The GREAT Britain MINI Tour has been successfully running for 2 months now and has already generated interest from British companies. A GREAT opportunity for better visibility of British products in Germany and we should build on this. I am delighted to announce a new commercial partner for the tour: Tyrrells Crisps. Tyrrells crisps are hand cooked on a farm in the heart of England and widely available in Germany. You will be pleased to know that the Mini`s supply of Tyrrells crisps is guaranteed throughout its journey across Germany this year.”

Under the partnership, Tyrrells will provide supplies for the GREAT Britain MINI Tour, ensuring that enough crisps are on board for the MINI’s journeys and the events which it attends. The MINI Tour will also be integrated into Tyrrells’ online campaign from May 2013 on www.facebook/TyrrellsGermany.
