Graham Dalton appointed as the new Chief Executive of the Defence Infrastructure Organisation
The department is pleased to announce the appointment of Graham Dalton as the new Chief Executive.
Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) is pleased to announce the appointment of Graham Dalton as the new Chief Executive. He will start his induction on 10th October 2016.
Mr Dalton spent 7 years as the Chief Executive (CE) of the Highways Agency, and then a short time as CE of its successor body, Highways England, before leaving last summer.
He is a chartered civil engineer and has spent his career in the operation, maintenance, and enhancement of large infrastructure including railways, power generation and ports. He has worked for a large engineering consultancy, for an international construction contractor and spent several years on delivery of large projects in the Middle East and Far East.
This position was recruited by Capita plc as part of the strategic business partner agreement with the Ministry of Defence.
