Foreign Secretary meets New Zealand Foreign Minister

The Foreign Secretary received Murray McCully, Foreign Minister for New Zealand, at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office today.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

The Ministers shared UK and New Zealand objectives in Afghanistan and foreign policy challenges.

The Foreign Secretary said:

“I very much welcomed the early opportunity to meet with Murray McCully, New Zealand Foreign Minister . We had an excellent discussion on the Commonwealth and issues of key importance to both our countries. I look forward to close cooperation with the New Zealand as we work towards our common goals.”
