Foreign Office launches film in build-up to Paralympic Games

Presented by wheelchair basketball player Ade Adepitan, the film looks at the birth of the Paralympic movement in the UK and preparations for the London 2012 Games. Tickets for the Paralympics went on sale today.

Shot in a variety of locations including the Olympic Park and Stoke Mandeville Stadium, the film features interviews with aspiring paralympians, and archive footage from the first games for disability sports in 1948. Paralympian Chris Holmes, Director of Paralympic Integration for the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics, gives his thoughts ahead of the Games. Watch the film below.
