Footpath resurfacing work alongside the A5 at Dordon, Staffordshire

Daytime resurfacing work is to be carried out on the footpath alongside the A5 between Dordon Roundabout at the M40 junction 10 near Tamworth, Staffordshire, from Monday 20 October.

Overgrown vegetation will be removed and the path resurfaced alongside the westbound carriageway, which will be reduced to one lane between 9am and 4pm for a week.

Highways Agency project manager Purnima Kaul said:

“This will provide pedestrians with a clearer, smoother footpath. As the work is taking place in the daytime road users should expect delays and allow extra time for their journeys.”
