Football Is Great: Visit of Micky Adams & Alan Rogers to Bishkek
Visit of Micky Adams and Alan Rogers, former Premier League players to Bishkek, 10-14 September 2017.
British Embassy Bishkek organised the visit of Micky Adams and Alan Rogers, both former Premier League players, to Bishkek from 10-14 September 2017 in collaboration with the Kyrgyz Football Federation and Brooke House College Football Academy.
Micky and Alan conducted an intensive training camp from 11-13 September in Bishkek for the Under 13 national team, and provided master classes to the pupils of Oxford International school and Bishkek International school on 14 September. On 13 September the Embassy organised an “Evening with Micky and Alan” for Kyrgyz football fans, where they had opportunity to talk to the players.
Football is Great event is part of Embassy’s Great Campaign to promote links between the UK and Kyrgyzstan and to mark the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between UK and Kyrgyzstan.
