Five appointments to the Independent Advisory Panel

The Secretary of State, in consultation with the Home Office and Department of Health, has made five appointments to the Independent Advisory Panel on deaths in custody.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

The Secretary of State, in consultation with the Home Office and Department of Health, has appointed Dr Dinesh Maganty, Professor Graham Towl, Matilda MacAttram, Dr Meng Aw-Yong and Stephen Cragg as Members of the Independent Advisory Panel on Deaths in Custody from 7 March 2014. The appointments are subject to clearance checks.

The recruitment campaign has been conducted in accordance with the Commissioner for Public Appointments’ Code of Practice on appointments to Public Bodies.
