FCDO statement on DPRK ballistic missile launches: 04 January
The FCDO has released a statement following a ballistic missile launches by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on 4 January.
An FCDO spokesperson said:
The ballistic missile launches conducted by North Korea on 4 January breach multiple UN Security Council resolutions (UNSCRs).
North Korea’s use of missile technology continues to destabilise the peace and security of the Korean Peninsula.
The UK continues to urge North Korea to stop provocations, to engage in meaningful diplomacy and return to dialogue.
