The Environment Agency is inviting people living on the Somerset Moors and Levels to another two drop-in surgeries at Aller and Stoke St Gregory.
Anyone who has been affected by or has concerns about the recent floods is welcome to attend and share their experiences with Environment Agency officers and advisors from partner organisations including Somerset County Council and Sedgemoor District Council.
The first drop-in event will be held at Aller Village Hall, High Street, on Tuesday (May 27) and this will be for people living in Aller Drove, Combe and Pathe. The second surgery will take place at the Willows and Wetlands Centre, Stoke St. Gregory, for people at Stathe including Oath, Wick and West Sedgemoor on Thursday (May 29). Both sessions will run from 4pm to 7pm.
The sessions are a chance for residents to discuss the recent floods, recovery, dredging and future flood resilience.
Residents attending these sessions will be invited to complete a short online survey that can be found through the following link http://feedback1.environmentagency.uk.com/s3/Feedback-survey The survey is confidential and will help the Agency make sure these drop-in events are as useful as possible.
People unable to attend the surgeries can contact the Environment Agency’s Wessex Flood Resilience team for the latest advice by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone on 01278 484891.
