Education, business meets Royal couple
Education and business were together at a reception with the Princess Royal, Princess Anne, and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, the guests of honour.
Organised by the Embassy and the British Council at the British Ambassador’s Residence the two worlds represented some of the most active and influential people in their fields in Russia.
After a welcome from Ambassador Tim Barrow they then had the opportunity to mingle and talk with the Royal couple for more than an hour.
A mix of Britons and Russians, they included academics and British Alumni - including several from our Chevening Scholarship Scheme - along with representatives from business-related companies and projects.
