David Cameron meets Prime Minister Gilani of Pakistan

A joint statement was released to mark the occasion of The First Annual Summit of the UK-Pakistan Enhanced Strategic Dialogue.

The Prime Minister hosted Prime Minister Gilani of Pakistan in Number 10 this afternoon, where they had a fruitful discussion on developments in the Enhanced Strategic Dialogue which was agreed by both countries during the Prime Minister’s trip to Pakistan last year.

They discussed progress on boosting two way trade and investment, security and defence partnerships and cooperation on cultural and educational issues .

They issued a joint statement to mark the occasion of The First Annual Summit of the UK-Pakistan Enhanced Strategic Dialogue.
