CSPL welcomes PASC's report on crime statistics

Published 9 April 2014

The Committee on Standards in Public Life welcomes the Public Administration Select Committee (PASC) report on crime statistics and welcomes particularly warmly the importance PASC places on the value of the Seven Principles of Public Life. In our Fourteenth Report Standards Matter (2013) we have already flagged up policing as a possible area of work for the Committee on Standards in Public Life. The Committee has been in regular contact with the College of Policing and we have already indicated to them that we intend to monitor implementation of their new code of ethics.
