Consular notice about demonstrations in Kuwait

Possible planned demonstration may occur Wednesday, 2 October in the Taima area in Jahra, in Sulibikhat and in Ahmadi

Please be aware that planned demonstrations may occur tomorrow, Wednesday, 2 October in the Taima area in Jahra, in Sulibikhat and in Ahmadi. However, the exact location of these demonstrations may change without notice, and protests can spread to other areas as well.

In line with our existing Travel Advice, we advise British Nationals to avoid areas where there is a potential for large public gatherings and demonstrations to occur, to take sensible precautions for their personal safety, and to follow news reports.
