Concerns on mine suspension
The British Ambassador to Guatemala commented on a preliminary judicial decision to suspend two mining licences.
The British Ambassador to Guatemala, Thomas Carter, said:
Hope the San Rafael mine can resume operations soon. Very damaging for international perceptions of Guatemala as a business location.
