Co-creation Spaces

NSTIx has established a cross-government network of themed Co-creation Spaces (CCS).

The CCSs combine the respective power of specialist public and private sector partners in capability development and end user requirements.

CCSs foster open and collaborative development of high-impact, user-driven technology solutions critical to national security, at a pace and scale that could not otherwise be achieved.

They provide NSTIx with a practical outlet for our core work, allowing us to develop cross-cutting capabilities, test concepts and develop best practice in co-creation.

The Co-creation Network adapts according to national security priority needs, and currently comprises the following themed spaces:

  • protective security
  • defence innovation
  • cyber
  • data science and AI (artificial intelligence)
  • operational technology

Each is sponsored and operated by a different government department, and sited at various locations across the UK, near to existing clusters of relevant government, commercial and / or academic technical excellence.

NSTIx provides the branding and enablers under which co-creation can thrive.
