Citizenship ceremony at the embassy in Santiago

Mrs. Claudia Griffin became a British citizen by taking an Oath of Allegiance at a ceremony celebrated at the British Embassy in Santiago.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

In late March, Mrs. Claudia Griffin became a British citizen by taking an Oath of Allegiance and making a pledge at a citizenship ceremony celebrated at the British Embassy in Santiago.

After a welcome speech from our Deputy Head of Mission and British Consul General, Mr. Russell Baker. Mrs. Griffin received her naturalisation certificate and was welcomed into British citizenship. Claudia was accompanied by her husband, parents and sister.
