Changes to standards and technical documents updated by CEN that affect those carrying out chemical measurement in support of regulation
The following list shows standards and technical documents published by the European Standardisation Organisation, CEN, during January and February, some of which are relevant to chemical measurement in support of regulation.
EN 16847:2016 – Fertilisers - Determination of complexing agents in fertilisers; identification of heptagluconic acid by chromatography. This method is applicable to EC fertilisers containing complexed micro-nutrients, which are covered by Regulation (EC) No 2003/2003.
EN ISO 4796-1:2016 - Laboratory glassware - Bottles - Part 1: Screw-neck bottles.
EN 17781-1:2016 - Textiles - Determination of certain flame retardants - Part 1: Brominated flame retardants. This standard describes methods for the determination of brominated flame retardants.
EN 17781-2:2016 - Textiles - Determination of certain flame retardants - Part 2: Phosphorus flame retardants. This standard describes methods for the determination of phosphorus flame retardants.
EN ISO 29841:2014/A1:2016 - Vegetable fats and oils - Determination of the degradation products of chlorophylls a and a’ (pheophytins a, a’ and pyropheophytins).
