Her Majesty’s Honorary Consul, Colin R Armstrong, and Mrs Armstrong will hold a lunch on Saturday, 15th June at 1 p.m., in order to celebrate the official birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The event will also mark the 60th anniversary of the Queen’s coronation, which took place in Westminster Abbey in London on 2nd June, 1953.

The event will take place at the Armstrong family beach home and will be attended by British Ambassador Patrick Mullee, Deputy Head of Mission Tina Hamilton, the British community, local authorities, and representatives from businesses around the country.

There will be a fashion show by well-known designers Patricia and Melissa Klein, who will present their collection “Cruise and Marina 2013”, with the help of models from the Klasse Academy. In addition, Ecua-Andino, the number one exporter of Panama hats, will present their varied and colourful hat collection.

During the event, there will be a raffle with prizes of two hats used in the Roland Garros tennis tournament in Paris, donated by Ecua-Andino. Proceeds will go towards social projects run by the church of the San Pablo community.
