Busy Sunday expected on M54 as charity bike event takes place

Road users are advised that up to 3,000 motorcyclists could take part in the fifth annual Bike 4 Life event between Shrewsbury and RAF Cosford this Sunday (26 April).

The cyclists will leave Meole Brace in Shrewsbury at 11.30 on Sunday morning and will ride to the RAF Museum at Cosford via the A5, M54 and A41.

The 23 mile journey only takes around half an hour but, depending on the number of people participating, there could be delays and some congestion along this route.

The event raises funds for the Midlands Air Ambulance and the museum.
