Due to continued flooding in many parts of Manila and many staff being unable to commute safely to work, the British Embassy Manila is again unable to provide its usual range of services today, 21 August.

The Consular Section is unable to process today’s notarial and Certificate of No Impediment (CNI) appointments for British Nationals. We apologise for this inconvenience. As soon as the weather improves we will be allocating extra staff and resources to these tasks to help those who have missed appointments and to get services back to normal as soon as possible.

However, the Visa Application Centre in Makati has reopened and is accepting applications.

The British Embassy remains open but with reduced staff.

For British Nationals who have been affected by the heavy rain or flood brought about by Tropical Storm Maring and require urgent consular assistance, please call us at (02) 8582200. Take care and let your family know you are safe.
