British Embassy Harare - Chevening 2014/15

British Embassy Harare’s DHM, Chris Brown awarded four Zimbabweans the prestigious Chevening Scholarship funded by the British Government.

Talented Zimbabweans awarded Chevening 2014/15 Scholarships

Speaking at a Chevening pre-departure reception DHM Chris Brown said:

“The Chevening Scholarship Programme is a demonstrations of UK’s commitment to Zimbabwe’s people and it’s future. The Chevening Programme ensures that beneficiaries have the skills and knowledge to make a meaningful contribution to Zimbabwe’s development.”

The four Chevening Scholarship recipients are: Dr Rumbidzayi Zengeya: Masters in Public Health (University of Sheffield); Tendai Zihove: Masters in World Heritage Studies (University of Birmingham); Ronald Chari: Masters in Law and Economics (Queen Mary University); Masimba Nyamanhindi: Masters in International Rural Development (Royal Veterinary College).

The Chevening Scholarships are United Kingdom’s global scholarship programme awarded to outstanding scholars with leadership potential from around the world to study post graduate courses at universities in the UK.
